About the event

The Center for California Real Estate (CCRE), an institute of the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®, is proud to present an in-depth panel discussion titled "Unlocking Potential: Tackling the Bay Area’s Housing Supply Challenge." This event, scheduled for Tuesday, May 21 in San Francisco, focuses on the escalating housing supply challenges in the Bay Area – a region synonymous with innovation and economic vitality contrasting yet one facing a burgeoning housing crisis.

In an area celebrated for its technological advancements and vibrant culture, the stark reality is that many high-skilled and working-class professionals find themselves priced out of living and working in the communities that fuel their careers. This panel aims to dissect the complex nature of the Bay Area’s housing dilemma, bringing to the forefront initiatives being undertaken by government bodies, corporate entities, and community organizations to foster a prosperous living environment.

This gathering is designed to offer a platform for open dialogue, knowledge exchange, and a collective exploration of pathways to ensure the Bay Area remains an accessible, affordable, and thriving community for all.
